Troll Under The Bridge

What Bridge Trolls really get up to.

There once was a town named Limerick,
And don't you dare even think I'm going to make one.

Anyway, as I entered this town,
I was taken aback by the sheer horror that betook my sight;

This place wasn't real...
It was a horror film set.
I swear.

Anyway, jokes aside (Yes, seriously.),
My first destination was the so called "Tallest" Church of Ireland.
St. John's Cathedral.
Not a man of god myself,
But was a pretty good sight none the less:
I think it's cheating to be honest,
It's not like anyone ever goes to the top.
I bet there's no stairs either.

I grabbed a few more pictures,
There wasn't anything particular exciting to me here,
Like I said, I'm not a man of god,
Or one of history...That's somewhat of a lie.
There's SOME history I like.
King Richard the 2nd for example.
Enough ramblings, pics or it never happened!:

Traffic wasn't bad. Alot of parked cars though.

Just another scary picture,
Of oddly bright landscape

Not so bright, but there was swans in the way of the water.
Swans are evil,
Don't argue with me.

Anyway, at this point, planning my next steps would be a good idea.
So, untill next time!
Adidas!
Ados!
Adios!

When on the road to sweet Athy, A stick in the hand, a drop in the eye.
A doleful troll I heard cry, Johnny, I hate walking.

Walking, Yeah, Ireland's a beautiful place. But my god, SO. MUCH. WALKING.

So, It's been a while, and suffice to say, ignoring the complaint of walking,
I've had alot of fun!
Now to tell ye why, sit-eth scroll-eth down-eth, and listen...eth.
I started my epic journey from sweet ol' Dublin. I travelled far across the land (45 miles), to "Sweet" Athy. I boughteth me a "Trilby":
So, while in Athy, I snapped a few shots of the town,
And I found a new potential home!:
The owner said it has potential flooding problems, and that people like to drive through it with big floaty things, but I don't see how that could be a problem.
Just worried about the computer getting wet, that's all.

This place was rather lonesome,
I'd like to live here, but I think it might be a bit too drafty.
These are the Ruins of Levitstown Mill, just south of Athy.

(Yeah, I detoured, so what? It's a holiday!)

Alreet, so, I finally left sweet Athy, and took my journey to the west.
I grabbed my epic hat, (which was actually slightly too small, and not green),
And took my not so epic journey (finally) to the west!

S'pose I'd better start calling them "Leprechauns" before I actually offend someone.
Anyway!
I must say, that Temple Bar was a very invigorating place indeed!
I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out.
Whilst I enjoyed the lovely sound of folk music and the extravagant taste of a traditional Irish brew, I must venture onwards to the quieter, but beautiful side of Ireland!
Sayonara Temple Bar!
To the west to fetch me a Leprechaun!

Y'know, I woke up one morning, and I don’t know why I ended up on the floor,
it was right next to the bed.
Oh well, we all know waking up on the floor means you've had a good night.
Just a shame you can't really remember most of it.
I ventured to my camera and it appears I did indeed use it.
It also appears I somewhat overused it, so I'm just going to use a slide show for now:

I do remember the odd bits, and I'd just like to say that the locals are all very loud,
but very fun to be with indeed!
I love the Irish music,
It's so happy and flamboyant, I would really love to live there.
(I wonder if I can find an unoccupied bridge near by...)

The next step of my journey was to explore the wonderful country side of Ireland.
I wondered if I'd see any of those magical green midgets I hear about.

Well, on the odd occasion, I do leave my little bridge of a home,
but I was actually rather excited!
I got to go to a place of green midgets!
So, here's all about my trip to Dublin!

I made it to Dublin with no scratches, even after being dragged on the boat.

I found Blooms Hotel quite quickly when I arrived to the magical place of green midgets:

Well, I say it was easy to find. But when you're looking for a place called "Blooms Hotel", when in fact, the front of the hotel says "Vat House", you kind of think otherwise.

Even during the day time, everything is still quite lively

I'll post more tomorrow, because I really need some sleep.

TROLLS DO NOT RIDE ON BOATS FOR A REASON.

About Me

I live under a bridge in a land dubbed Southampton! Under my little bridge, I love to troll the net, program, and play games.
